Planning for 6 lessons focusing on the key question ‘How and why do Christians follow Jesus?’ following the Derby City RE Agreed syllabus. Includes plan, SMART slides (also attached as a Powerpoint document for those who do not use SMART) and resources. Includes lessons focusing on: I can understand what a hero is and explain characteristics of a good role model. I can explain how a person may be inspired to do something good by somebody else’s words or example. I can use religious vocab to describe aspects of Jesus’ life and teachings and give examples of how these influence the lives of Christians I can explain the impact that believing in Jesus will have on a Christian’s life and give examples. Ask and respond to questions raised by stories from the life of Jesus and contemporary followers.
